Into the Millennium

Okay everybody here's the pics!  What a show!  I'm already scheming on how to see them on the next leg of their tour in the spring.

Most pictures taken with my Canon SureShot 135 Zoom with either Kodak 1000 Max or Fuji 1600 ASA film.

My scan of the tickets.  They were awesome seats near the famous launch box and only 2 rows off the floor!

Saw Roro the dancer, Dennis from the band, and Bubba Bryant the drummer (above in white with the hair).

Mandy Moore waved to us as she walked off too.

This is the black box where the guys launch on their boogie board from.  "Star Wars" music is playing now and lots of screaming.

Here they go!  Nick's up top in the center, Brian is on this side with his back to us.  Don't ask me where the others are.

Nick takes off and heads for the stage with the others following.

Once they've landed and unhooked themselves, they walk around each side of the pentagon shaped stage pausing to check us out!  Also, good time for us to get pics of them!!! Brian's on the end here, Kevin's standing out front.

Then the show begins.  Starting off with "Larger than Life".  This shot is from the end of it when AJ's singing.

I think this one's from "Get Down" but it could be "The One"...I was still screaming and in the "I can't believe I'm here" stage.

They also took time early on to introduce themselves with Nick going first.  Like he needed an introduction.  Brian was on my side of the stage for his intros but the lighting messed up the pics.  Wah.  So I have my memories.  Did I mention that I like Brian? You'll see more of him to come.  I've also recently decided that Nick has grown up to be a nice young man ;-) and I tried to get some awesome shots of him but he just wouldn't hold still and I shook the camera.  Oh well.

Here's a good one of Bri and Nick. "As Long As You Love Me"

Next came "Don't want to lose you now" and "Quit Playing Games".  Towards the end of QPG the guys got harnessed again, this time to fly over the crowds.  Guess what?  Brian was on my side!  For a guy afraid of heights, he had fun up there.

By the way, the guys were all in leather now.  And guess what?  None of the shots hardly turned out.  Great.

This is what I want for Christmas...a pole with a B-Rok attached to it. HeeHee.  "Don't want you back" is this one.

Then came "Perfect Fan" (co-wrote by Brian) and "Back to Your Heart" (co-wrote by Kevin).  During PF, they brought up the 5 moms & their daughters.  Nick had a little girl about 5 years old - she was so cute.  Brian had a girl who was about 9 and she was in shock!  Before BTYH Kevin and Mindi Abair (sax & percussion and the only girl in the band) did a little number as the intro to BTYH.  Kevin continued to play thru BTYH and the guys sat on one side of the stage (and it wasn't mine which is why there's no pics).  It's my most fave song now.  Especially since I got to hear Brian sing the 4 lines that are so quiet on the CD.
